Tom has spent 15 years in IT recruitment, and he'll tell you he's not a technical expert: his strength is people. Emotional intelligence is at the heart of how he works. He looks beyond the position description to understand what a business really needs, then finds the right person, not just the right résumé.
He started his career in Brisbane in 2011 with Zenus Recruitment and Eden Ritchie, then spent nine years with Recon Solutions, which merged with Halcyon Knights. There he rose from Senior Consultant in IT contracting to Associate Director and then Director for Queensland, reporting to the board of ASX-listed People Infrastructure.
In 2024 he co-founded Three with Joe Pilling and Chris Young. Tom builds high-performing project services teams for financial services and superannuation organisations, across digital transformation, data, development, infrastructure and cyber. He has worked extensively in banking, superannuation, insurance and gaming, and more recently has found real purpose helping not-for-profit organisations with transformation, legislative compliance and lifting their technical capability through people.
